WHAT:

ANNUAL COLLECTOR CAR APPRECIATION DAY

The SEMA Action Network (SAN) announced, “the next  Collector Car Appreciation Day (CCAD) will be officially celebrated on July 9, 2021.  The date marks the twelfth consecutive commemoration in what is now an annual event to raise awareness of the vital role automotive restoration and collection plays in American society.”

JAMES WRIGHT SAYS:

By a resolution of the U.S. Congress, the second Friday of July has been designated as Collector Car Appreciation Day. The term collector car is not defined other than any vehicle that has collector value. Each organization is left to determine what a collector car is.

The Fort Lauderdale AACA has decided that basically any vehicle that is eligible for collector car insurance qualifies as a collector vehicle regardless of age or condition – antiques, rods, replicas or exotics.

In recognition of Collector Car Appreciation Day the Fort Lauderdale AACA has organized a cruise-in to celebrate the occasion  Please join us for the very special occasion.

THIS IS A REGISTRATION FREE EVENT.

We will cruise North to the Hillsboro Inlet then back South to Las Olas Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale before returning north on A1A to the parking lot where we will pause for photos before disbursing. Please join us for a casual cruise of A1A. .

WHEN:

Friday, July 9th. 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m

WHERE:
City Parking Lot on the east side of A1A one block north of Commercial Blvd.

DIRECTIONS:

5060 N Federal Highway The lot is on NE 51st Street (behind Dennys).
